Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering with the Estuary Partnership gives citizens the opportunity to participate in on the ground field work, interact with new people with similar interests, work side by side with professionals in the field, and share and learn new skills, possibly gain expertise and experience for future employment.

Volunteer Opportunities

Help protect and restore habitats of the lower Columbia River. Estuary Partnership tree plantings are fun family activities and suitable for all ages. Learn about and explore local natural areas. Gloves and tools are provided. Come prepared with old tennis shoes or boots, drinking water and enthusiasm!

All plantings are free but pre-registration is required. We currently have five tree plantings confirmed for early 2012. All plantings are on Saturdays from 9am to Noon. Other dates and times may be available by request. Several more days will be added in the coming months but we encourage early registration since plantings are limited to 35 participants and fill-up quickly. Please call or email Annie Kleffner (503-226-1565 x225 / akleffner@lcrep.org) with questions or to register.
