Volunteering with the Estuary Partnership gives citizens the opportunity to participate in on the ground field work, interact with new people with similar interests, work side by side with professionals in the field, and share and learn new skills, possibly gain expertise and experience for future employment.
Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities
Each year, hundreds of volunteers work with the Estuary Partnership to plant native trees and shrubs at key sites. Once again, this planting season, the Estuary Partnership is working closely with the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge, Steigerwald National Wildlife Refuge, and Lacamas Creek Park. Not only are winter months good for plantings, they’re excellent wildlife view times. So mark a day on your calendar to see some wildlife, plant some trees, and contribute to the lower Columbia River.
